| Notes | Hemicellulase is an enzyme useful for breaking down hemicellulose, a primary component in most plant cell walls. It is useful for viscosity reduction of gums and extracts such as coffee beans for instant coffee production. Hemicellulase is supplied as an off-white to brown powder standardized at 400,000 HCU/g, but custom blends as low as 5,000 HCU/g are available. It is also available as a liquid with not less than 300,000 HCU/g. |
