Antioxidant 168 available at Parchem!

Antioxidant 168 (CAS No. 31570-04-4) is also known as Tris(2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphite.  This is a white powder that has very low water solubility. It is applied as a plasticizer or stabilizer in polymers, to absorb UV light and aid in inhibiting premature degradation.

Though commonly used as a plastic additive, Antioxidant 168 is also applied to building materials, electronics, textiles and leather, floor coverings, food packaging, furniture, lawn and garden care products, and rubber.  It may be used in combination with other antioxidants, to help improve a product’s overall durability.
