Parchem – fine & specialty chemicals honors high school students pursuing four year degrees in science. This year the Parchem scholarship award was presented to Stefka Mentor, a senior at New Rochelle High School who has achieved extraordinary academic accomplishments and is also the 2014 Senior Class President. Stefka will attend Emory University, one of the world’s leading liberal-arts-intensive research universities, where she intends to pursue a double major in chemistry and biology.
For the past several years, Parchem has provided support to middle and high school students in New Rochelle. Parchem’s CEO, Ephraim Rabin, states “it is my esteemed honor to support students with a passion for science. Not only is it part of Parchem’s corporate culture, but I see it as an investment in our future.”
