Every year Parchem looks forward to supporting the Westchester community and New Rochelle High School students vested in the sciences. “As part of Parchem’s Partnership Initiative, providing science scholarships to support the community and our nation’s future is our distinct honor,” stated Randi Norfleet, Senior Director of Strategy at Parchem, who delivered the awards to students during the year-end award ceremony.
This is the second year that Parchem has given the Parchem – fine & specialty chemicals award to high school students who show promise and interest in continuing their education in the sciences. The three students honored this year were: Tori di Salvo, Nicole Calautti, and Akshay Koottala, all of whom demonstrated passion and exemplary work in science at New Rochelle High School. The award demonstrates not only Parchem’s support of the importance of science to our nation, but a proactive advocacy of education in the Westchester county business community.
Parchem - fine & specialty chemicals will continue to be a long-time supporter of New Rochelle High School students pursuing in careers in science. Parchem prides itself on community outreach and building stronger relationships to continue supporting the succession planning of future scientists in the United States.
