This high quality raw material, manufactured by Summit Research Labs, is used in the personal care and pharmaceutical industries. The active ingredient in our Aloxicoll 31 P is aluminum sesquichlorohydrate [ CAS 173763-15-0 ], formula Al2(OH)ClH2O.
ALOXICOLL 31 P is a standard antiperspirant active. Its efficacy is attributed to the precipitation of basic Aluminum Chlorohydrate polymer complexes in the upper part of the sweat glands. As an antiperspirant active, ALOXICOLL 31 P has a slightly higher efficacy over standard aluminum chlorohydrate. It is primarily used in anhydrous formulations (e.g. aerosols, sticks, soft solids, suspension roll-ons, powders and creams).
