Parchem – fine & specialty chemicals is proud to offer Orange Oil and other orange derivatives to the chemicals marketplace. Orange oil is a natural oil that is extracted from the peel or rind of oranges and is composed of a mixture of terpenes such as myrcene, α-pinene, and linalool. D-limonene is the most abundant of the terpenes present in orange oil and is used in a plethora of applications across the industrial chemical, food & beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. A few of these applications include the manufacture of household and commercial cleaners and stain removers, the development of fragrances and cosmetics, and as a food & beverage additive for numerous products. One of limonene’s most desirable traits is that it is environmentally friendly and can be used as a solvent or chemical intermediate in organic chemical synthesis and other processes.

Along with Orange Oil and D-Limonene, Parchem also offers Orange Juice Concentrate with a range of brix values to meet the needs of our business partners. This juice concentrate is used to produce many food and beverage products as well as several pharmaceutical products.
