Parchem – fine & specialty chemicals is the premier supplier of high quality vegetable oils. As a leading supplier of Soybean Oil Fatty Acid to the global marketplace, Parchem is committed to supplying the highest quality of raw materials and services accurately, on-time, and on-budget.

Soybean oil is derived from the seeds of the soy plant. The primary fatty acids in soybean oil are the unsaturated C18 fatty acids linoleic acid (~60%), oleic acid (~25%), and alpha-linolenic acid (~5%). It also contains small amounts of stearic acid and palmitic acid (~5% each).

Parchem supplies Soybean Oil Fatty Acid for use in lubricants and industrial applications, but we also offer food grade soybean oil fatty acid that is used commonly as cooking oil for frying and baking purposes. A secondary use is as a condiment for salads. Food Grade Soybean Oil Fatty Acid is also used in personal care products such as hair conditioners and skin creams as a conditioning agent. Soybean Bean Oil Fatty Acid has multiple industrial uses as well.  It is used in certain printing inks and oil paints for its unique drying properties.  Additionally, soybean oil has been used in certain insect repellant formulations as a fixative agent.

Along with Soybean Oil Fatty Acid, Parchem offers a variety of other vegetable oils from our multitude of warehouses strategically located across the United States.  As an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, Parchem – fine & specialty chemicals is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and continual improvement at every level of our business. At Parchem, we take pride in being a vital link in the value chain to ensure our partner’s satisfaction.
