This holiday season, Parchem - Fine & Specialty Chemicals contributed $1500 to Hope Community Services in New Rochelle, NY.
Hope Community Services (Help Our People Eat) supports the increasing needs of our community since its inception in 1984. HOPE serves hot meals three days a week, as their mission is to help low income families maintain adequate nutrition. In 2010, HOPE Community Services served 28,108 meals, distributed 15,797 grocery bags and helped 1739 families. HOPE’s initial focus was serving food, and feeding the community. The response from the community was reactive and led to additional needs. HOPE quickly realized this and began clothing drives, emotional support and language skills as well as other daily necessities.
Parchem - Fine & Specialty Chemicals has been a long-time supporter of Hope Community Services as well as other local charities and organizations. As a local business, Parchem believes in community outreach and building stronger relationships with our neighbors.
