Zirkonal P4G, and Zirkonal AP4G, or Aluminium zirconium tetrachlorohydrex GLY (CAS number 90604-80-1) is an anti-perspirant active that comes in the form of a fine white powder. It provides a better reduction of sweat over the standard Aluminium Zirconium Chlorohydrex Gly powder. Aluminum Zirconium Tetrachlorohydrex GLY works by diffusing into sweat glands and forming a plug which then restricts the flow of sweat to the surface. The plug progressively breaks down and normal sweating then resumes. 

Zirkonal P4G, and Zirkonal AP4G main uses are in deodorant in the form of suspension formulations such as sticks, suspension roll-ons, soft solids and creams. Due to FDA regulations only non aerosol dosage forms are allowed. Zirkonal P4G, and Zirkonal AP4G has a maximum concentration of 20% that is calculated on an anhydrous omitting any buffer component that may be present in the compound.
